afarax - Test Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Test plan preparation: Review business requirements. Based on these, write the test plan and request clarifications from the BA whenever necessary.
• Test scenario design: Write detailed test scenarios based on the test plan and business requirements.
• Test data preparation: In some cases, test data will need to be created. When test environments are refreshed, ensure these refreshes are synchronized so that consistent test data is available across all systems.
• Executing test scenarios: Perform functional tests (including regression tests) that are part of the BA responsibilities. E2E tests will, for now, remain with the BA team.
• Defect follow-up: Log identified defects and ensure their resolution is tracked and followed up.

Is this you?

• You hold a master's degree in a technical or economic field, or have equivalent experience.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience preparing and executing functional and E2E tests.
• Proven experience in writing test plans and test scenarios is mandatory.
• You have several years of experience as a test coordinator within a complex project structure.
• You have experience interpreting process flows and class diagrams, and you are familiar with BPMN and UML.
• Experience with Jira and Enterprise Architect is a strong plus.
• Experience in the electricity sector is an added value.
• Experience with industrial asset maintenance is a plus.
• Strong command of English is required (reading, writing). Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French is mandatory (spoken, written), and you must be able to understand the second national language.
• You are hands-on, with strong analytical skills and a critical mindset — you are not afraid to challenge assumptions.
• You can work both independently and as part of a team.
• You are skilled in planning and organization.
• You demonstrate strong customer orientation and flexibility.
